A lot of reggaeton enthusiasts will agree with me by saying that Wisin Y Yandel are the biggest revolutionaries in the reggaeton genre. They have taken the genre and the US by storm. Wisin y Yandel were both born in Cayey, Puerto Rico. They struggled for fame in the 90's, and began to gain more and more fame in the mid . They became more widely known when they released Pal' Mundo (For The World). The duo gained lots of fame when this album released they became known to more than just Puerto Ricans and reggaeton lovers, but mexican people and those who have never heard of reggaeton. The songs that got peoples attention were Llame Pa Verte, and Rakata. This boosted the amount of good music coming from the duo. They quickly began to make club songs songs for the people to enjoy and dance too they also started crossing into mainstrean hip-hop and pop,being featured on many famous well-known american artits like R.Kelly, Paris Hilton, Ja Rule, Lenny Kravitz, Fat Joe, Nelly Furtado, 50 Cent, G-Unit, Akon, and T-Pain. They also have their names on a lot of things like a Zune MP3 player and the new Flip MinoHD video camera.
